🚨 Tuesday’s high-speed chase through multiple jurisdictions involved three juveniles who were wanted for auto theft, gun possession, and a string of other crimes.
🗓️ The City of Brookhaven will hold public meetings on June 10 and 17 to discuss the millage rate and potential rollback.
🗳 Longtime resident David Ziskind declared his candidacy for Dunwoody City Council Post 2.

1. Idea Capital awards 2025 arts grants to eight Atlanta creative projects

💰 Idea Capital, a grassroots arts funding collective based in Atlanta, has announced its 2025 Idea Grant recipients.
This year’s cohort includes a curator, publishers, a photographer, a filmmaker, a multimedia artist, a performance artist, and a painter.
Founded in 2008, Idea Capital began as an experiment. Five artists and organizers each contributed $100 to fund a single grant. Since then, donations have allowed the group to help fund hundreds of Atlanta-based creative projects through micro-grants, awarded annually through a competitive application process.

2. New farmers market in Shops of Dunwoody seeks to be community meeting spot
🫑 There’s a new farmers market in town, and from the looks of its first week, it’s going to become a Dunwoody favorite.
On June 1, the inaugural Shops of Dunwoody Farmers Market opened for business with 33 vendors and 800 visitors. The market, which will run through Nov. 16 on Sundays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., includes many vendors who do not frequent the Dunwoody Homeowners Association Market on Saturdays at Brook Run Park.
The market was started by Polina Williams, who also began the Chamblee Farmers Market in April.
