The first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year in Decatur is Thurs., July 31, 2025. (Teachers report to work on Mon., July 21.)
Holidays and breaks
The first early release day of the school year is Wed., Aug. 27, 2025.
The first break is Labor Day on Mon., Sept. 1, 2025.
Fall Break is Mon., Sept. 22–Fri., Sept. 26, 2025. School resumes on Mon., Sept. 29.
