Now Open

White Windmill Bakery & Cafe
562 Main St., Lindbergh

The Uptown Atlanta location of Korean-French bakery-cafe White Windmill near the Lindbergh MARTA station opened in Buckhead, joining other new restaurants at the transit-oriented complex, including Madre Selva, Bene Korean Steakhouse, El Gordo, and J’ouvert Caribbean Kitchen. 

k|n at Kinship Butchery and Sundry
1019 Virginia Ave., Virginia-Highland

Over in Virginia-Highland, Chef Myles Moody and sommelier Rachael Pack, the couple behind Kinship Butchery and Sundry, just launched a new four-seat, 12-course tasting menu experience called k|n (kin). Starting in September and only taking place on select weekends each month, the two-hour-plus dinner features 12 courses with wine or non-alcoholic beverage pairings for $325 per person. There’s a catch. Reservations via Resy are currently sold out through the end of 2025. But you can add yourself to the waiting list by setting a “Notify” alert on the reservation platform. 

The Creamy Spot
352 University Ave., Pittsburgh Yards

After closing down operations last year at former West End brewery Best Endvegan ice cream shop The Creamy Spot reopened as part of co-working space Pittsburgh Yards. The Creamy Spot first opened as a pop-up at The Window at The Met in Adair Park, owned by La Bodega’s Ken Katz and Jeannette Flores-Katz. The Katzs have since opened La Bodega as a pupuseria and market in Sylvan Hills. 

Red Room Bistro
255 Trinity Ave., Downtown

Red Room Bistro, owned by TV personality and “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Karlie Redd, opened along Trinity Avenue in downtown Atlanta. The restaurant serves a fusion of soul and Caribbean dishes, along with cocktails. Redd co-owns Red Room Bistro with Ace Carrington (Spice House, Crescent City Kitchen).

Rreal Tacos
Ford Factory Lofts, Old Fourth Ward, Eastside Beltline

new location of Rreal Tacos opened in the former Dos Burros space at the Ford Factory Lofts across from Ponce City Market on the Eastside Beltline. 

Mason’s Super Dogs
Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park, Old Fourth Ward

A location of Mason’s Super Dogs opened near the Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park along the Eastside Beltline. Owned by 19-year-old Mason Wright, the Old Fourth Ward location is part of the Beltline’s incubator marketplace, supporting up-and-coming restaurants and businesses. Wright founded Mason’s at age 12, operating it as a hot dog cart on the Morehouse College campus. Beef, turkey, bratwurst, and vegan hot dogs are all available on the menu. 

Eclipse di Luna
661 Auburn Ave., Old Fourth Ward

Eclipse di Luna will opened at SPX Alley, next door to Pour Taproom on the Eastside Beltline. The tapas restaurant and bar replaces Nina & Rafi, which closed in April. Unlike the three other locations of Eclipse di Luna in Metro Atlanta, the Beltline location is part of a partnership with Rreal Tacos owner Damian Otero. Read more here.

Roaring Social
101 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur

The second location of Roaring Social opened in downtown Decatur. Located on West Ponce De Leon Avenue, Roaring Social features a bar with a small food menu, live music, and four bowling lanes. Please note, there is a dress code here. Roaring Social includes a location in downtown Alpharetta. 

Soul Foodies
Covington Place Shopping Plaza, Covington Hwy, Decatur

Soul Foodies opened recently on Covington Highway serving a menu of po’boys, entrees like fried catfish and oven-roasted pot roast, and Cajun chicken alfredo pasta.

Dumpling Master
1248 Clairmont Road, Decatur

A fifth location of dim sum and noodle restaurant Dumpling Master just opened in Decatur. The restaurant also includes locations in Chamblee, Alpharetta, Buford, and Peachtree City.

Toastique
4250 Roswell Road, Marietta

A location of breakfast cafe and juice bar Toastique opened on Roswell Road in Marietta. In addition to toasts and juices, Toastique also serves smoothies, breakfast bowls, and coffee. Toastique includes locations in Midtown and at the Brickworks on Atlanta’s west side. 

La Industria
3466 Holcomb Bridge Road, Peachtree Corners

A new Mexican restaurant just opened in the heart of Peachtree Corners serving everything from burritos and tacos to fajita platters and seafood dishes.

Friendship BBQ
2255 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth

Look for a variety of Chinese-style barbecue and skewers from Friendship BBQ, including seafood, beef, lamb, vegetables, and tofu.

Buddy Buddy
931 Monroe Dr., Midtown

A little birdie tells us that Buddy Buddy will open on Thursday, Oct. 2, at Midtown Promenade. Veteran Atlanta bartender Nick Chaivarlis will open Buddy Buddy in the former Tapa Tapa space, where people can expect martinis served three ways, along with other classic and original cocktails. The menu features Greek street food and homestyle dishes Chaivarlis grew up eating, including avgolemono (lemon chicken soup), yemista (stuffed peppers), and a roast lamb entree. Stay tuned to Instagram for updatesRead more about Buddy Buddy here

Kamayan ATL
Relocating next door to current location at Asian Square on Buford Hwy

Early next year, Michelin-recognized Filipino restaurant Kamayan ATL will relocate to a larger space at Asian Square on Buford Highway, providing it with seating for up to 100 people. Owners Mia Orino and Carlo Gan will take over the former Wang Eye Center next door to the current location of Kamayan ATL, which will also allow the couple to expand their catering operation, events space, and newly launched rice bowl delivery service restaurant, TitaTito. Orino told Rough Draft that Kamayan ATL will begin serving beer and wine once it relocates. Barring any construction and permitting delays, Kamayan ATL should open at its new location by the end of February 2026. The restaurant remains open at its current Asian Square location until the move next year. Read more about Kamayan ATL here

Smorgasburg Atlanta
Corner of Forsyth and Trinity in South Downtown

Smorgasburg, the weekly food festival headed to South Downtown this fall, will debut on Oct. 18. Located at the intersection of Forsyth and Trinity in South Downtown, Smorgasburg Atlanta will feature 40 food vendors, a bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails, and include retail and artist stalls and live entertainment. Keep tabs on the restaurants joining the Smorgasburg Atlanta lineup via Instagram

Mambo Zombi
485 Flat Shoals Road, East Atlanta Village

Mambo Zombi, the cocktail bar owned by Johnny Martinez and Brandon Ley of Joystick Gamebar and bartender Kysha Cyrus, will relocate from Edgewood Avenue to East Atlanta Village (EAV). Mambo Zombi is now closed above Georgia Beer Garden but will reopen by the end of the year in the former Eastside Lounge space in EAV.

Tyde Tate Thai Kitchen
Krog Street Market, Inman Park

Local favorite Tyde Tate Thai Kitchen will open a third location at Krog Street Market in October, taking over the original Recess space. To clarify, the current location of Recess is NOT closing. Tyde Tate includes locations in South Downtown and at Chattahoochee Food Works. 

Nando’s Peri-Peri Chicken
Krog Street Market, Inman Park

A location of Nando’s Peri-Peri Chicken will take over the former Bar Mercado space at Krog Street Market next spring. Nando’s already includes two Metro Atlanta locations in Dunwoody and Peachtree Corners. 

Eggslut
SPX Alley, Eastside Beltline, Old Fourth Ward

A location of LA-based sandwich shop Eggslut will open next spring beside Woof Gang at SPX Alley on the Eastside Beltline.
