Gather’d Market
3872 Roswell Road, Buckhead

Gather’d Market, a new food concept meant to help take the guesswork out of weekly meal preparation, opened in Buckhead. The meal prep store takes over space next door to Superica on Roswell Road.

Buddy Buddy
931 Monroe Dr., Midtown

Atlanta bartender Nick Chaivarlis opened Buddy Buddy at Midtown Promenade in the former Tapa Tapa space. In addition to martinis and other classic cocktails, the menu features Greek street food and homestyle dishes Chaivarlis grew up eating.

Ghee Indian Kitchen
Star Metals, Howell Mill Road

Miami-based restaurant Ghee Indian Kitchen opened as part of the Star Metals complex within the Howell Mill Road dining district. The restaurant takes over the former Wagamama space at the Sentral apartment building next door to Northside Tavern. Read more about Ghee Indian Kitchen here

Lo Kee 
The Interlock, Howell Mill Road

An Atlanta location of Asian fusion restaurant Lo Kee opened at The Interlock. Founded by Ivi Shano and Dara Mirjahangiry, the New York-based restaurant has become a celebrity-frequented haunt in recent years, along with the duo’s other New York City restaurant, Sei Less.

Tyde Tate Thai Kitchen
Krog Street Market, Inman Park

A third location of local Thai restaurant Tyde Tate Thai Kitchen opened at Krog Street Market, taking over the original Recess space. Please note that the current location of Recess is NOT closed at the food hall. Tyde Tate includes locations in South Downtown and at Chattahoochee Food Works.

Smorgasburg Atlanta
Corner of Forsyth and Trinity in South Downtown

Weekly food festival Smorgasburg opened at the intersection of Forsyth and Trinity in South Downtown. Smorgasburg Atlanta features 40 food vendors, a bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails, and includes retail and artist stalls and live entertainment. 

Auxiliary Coffee
945 Allene Ave., West End

Academy Coffee founder Connan Moody launched Auxiliary Coffee as a residency in West End. Look for a tight coffee menu with a rotating selection of independent roasters, as well as coffee industry and education events at Auxiliary Coffee. Moody plans to open a permanent location of Auxiliary Coffee in 2026. 

FNF Hot Burger 
1341 Moreland Ave., East Atlanta

FNF Hot Burger opened at Halidom Eatery in East Atlanta. Owned by Vic Tran, the menu offers burgers and hot dogs topped with a sauce that comes in six levels of spice, from mild to fiery. 

Spring 2nd Branch
113 Church St., Marietta

Spring 2nd Branch, the long-awaited Marietta restaurant from Chef Brian So, opened on Church Street. It resides just around the corner from his award-winning restaurant, Spring, near Marietta Square. Billed as a casual Korean restaurant, expect simmering hot pots, dolsot bibimbap, mandu (dumplings), and other dishes like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and naengmyeon (cold noodles).

Bellwood Coffee
Inside Little Shop of Stories, Decatur

The Decatur location of Bellwood Coffee is now open inside the expanded Little Shop of Stories bookstore. The East Atlanta Village location of Bellwood Coffee will close at the end of the year ahead of its relocation to Grant Park. Bellwood will take over the former Bennett’s Market space at the corner of Boulevard and Rosalia Street in early 2026. 

Eddie V’s Prime Seafood 
11405 Haynes Bridge Road, Alpharetta

A location of Eddie V’s Prime Seafood opened in Alpharetta. Located on Haynes Bridge, the sprawling 10,000-square-foot restaurant features three private dining rooms and more than 300 wines on its bottle list.

Barrel Proof
Westside Provisions District, Howell Mill Road

Barrel Proof, a New Orleans-based cocktail and whiskey bar, will open in November at Westside Provisions District. The bar takes over the former Little Trouble space beneath Ford Fry’s Marcel. Owners Liam Deegan and Robert LeBlanc first opened Barrel Proof in 2013 in the Garden District of New Orleans. In 2023, they expanded Barrel Proof to Nashville. Atlanta becomes the third location of the critically acclaimed bar. 

Spiller Park Coffee
999 Peachtree St., Midtown

The Midtown location of Spiller Park Coffee opens Nov. 3 at 999 Peachtree, the same building as Michelin-starred Lazy Betty. The new location will serve coffee, toasts, and bagels. 

Eggslut
Moxy Hotel, Downtown Atlanta

A second location of LA-based sandwich shop Eggslut will open next spring at the new Moxy Atlanta Downtown, close to attractions like Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, and Centennial Olympic Park. Another location of Eggslut will open next spring beside Woof Gang at SPX Alley on the Eastside Beltline.

Jagger Suite
Moxy Hotel, Downtown Atlanta

The upcoming Moxy Downtown will also include a rooftop lounge called Jagger Suite, named for model and actress Bianca Jagger. The lounge takes inspiration from New York City nightclub Studio 54, which glitterati like Jagger frequented in the 1970s. Jagger famously hosted her 30th birthday party there in 1977, where she appeared atop a white horse on the dance floor.

Shake Shack 
Centennial Yards, South Downtown

Shake Shack will open next year as part of the new lineup of South Downtown restaurants opening ahead of the World Cup matches at nearby Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2026. The popular burger joint will join distillery and brewery Wild Leap at Centennial Yards. 

Mister 01
299 N. Highland Ave., Inman Park

Miami-based Neapolitan pizzeria Mister 01 will eventually take over the former Char Korean space on North Highland in Inman Park. Char closed earlier this year after nearly a decade at the Inman Quarter complex. Mister 01 will become the second pizzeria along this stretch of North Highland. Just a block away, longtime restaurant and pizzeria Fritti also serves Neapolitan-style pizzas. Mister 01 includes locations in Buckhead and Sandy Springs.

Close Company
505 N. Angier Ave., Old Fourth Ward

Close Company, the Eastside Beltline cocktail bar from Death & Co., will officially open to the public on Nov. 6 on the plaza Level of Tower 2 at the New City development along Angier Avenue. Dining Editor Beth McKibben got a sneak peek and recommends the martini and pepperoni pizza hot pocket.

Summit Coffee
6075 Sandy Springs Cir., Sandy Springs

Summit Coffee will open in the Williams-Payne House in Sandy Springs next summer. Summit Coffee plans to operate daily, starting at 6 a.m., serving coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with alcoholic beverages. Look for ice cream from Summit Creamery, an outdoor ice cream shop.
