Rough Draft to host forums for Sandy Springs runoff elections
🗳️ Rough Draft Atlanta will present candidate forums on Thurs., Nov. 20 from 3-4 p.m. in advance of the Sandy Springs mayoral and District 4 council runoff elections.
✅ 3-3:30 p.m. – Mayoral runoff forum with Dontaye Carter facing incumbent Rusty Paul.
✅ 3:40-4 p.m. – City Council District 4 runoff forum with Frank Roberts and Michelle Sullivan.
‼️ Sandy Springs voters are encouraged to participate by submitting questions by email and registering to watch the forums live through Rough Draft’s Sandy Springs election page.

Perimeter Commuters Travel Nearly 34k Miles on Transit in September

North Springs High School to distribute food to the community
🥫 The Link at North Springs High School will host a community food distribution event on Nov. 15 at the Azalea Park Apartment complex.
The food distribution begins at 10 a.m. at 8805 Dunwoody Place, Sandy Springs, and continues while supplies last, according to a news release. It is being hosted in collaboration with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and the Azalea Park Apartment Complex.
North Springs High School opened The Link in 2023, as one of Fulton County School’s Student and Family Engagement Centers (SAFE). According to the release, the school operates under the principles of the Community School Model, which emphasizes the importance of partnerships that help remove barriers to student and family success. The Link provides a free grocery store, laundry services, clothing, hygiene items, and mental health services, enriched learning time, and active family and community engagement with community partners.
