MARKET UPDATE
📉 Stocks slid for a third straight day, but markets finished January higher, with investors mostly unfazed by the new Fed chair pick. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average both fell slightly. The Nasdaq Composite fell by 1.2 percent.

✊ Residents across metro Atlanta continue to protest the immigration crackdown by federal authorities across the country. Students organized group walkouts, and a community vigil honored the lives of those killed by ICE agents. Protests and marches are scheduled throughout the weekend.
🍽️ Tucker Restaurant Week, which celebrates the city’s favorite haunts, is officially slated for Feb. 24 – March 1.
