Le Faucheur Tearoom opened April 3 at the Park Place complex on Ashford Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody.
Offering European-inspired tea service, founder Valerie Fatemi built upon the success of mobile tea company The Cheeky TeaCup.
At Le Faucheur, Fatemi expanded The Cheeky TeaCup’s services into a permanent location serving seasonal menus of sandwiches, scones with fresh jams and creams, and desserts paired with a variety of loose-leaf teas.
Le Faucheur features three seatings at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m., each lasting an hour-and-a-half long. People can reserve traditional afternoon tea service or a custom tea service, along with booking private events at Le Faucheur.

“Le Faucheur was created to bring a sense of occasion back to everyday life,” Fatemi said in a press release. “We wanted to design a space that feels luxurious yet welcoming, where guests can gather, celebrate, and truly enjoy the art of tea.”
Now part of the Perimeter Center Entertainment District, which includes Perimeter Mall, Ashford Lane, and High Street, Park Place underwent updating and renovations two years ago in an attempt to court new tenants to the aging shopping complex. One update includes the creation of a central green space with a courtyard.
Park Place is also home to Cafe Intermezzo, Eclipse di Luna, McKendrick’s Steakhouse, Simply South Pure Indian Vegetarian, and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream.
