Looking for the perfect Mother’s Day souvenir? Capture your family forever with a 15-minute mini photo shoot session. Each session includes multiple backdrops, five immediate digital photos, and two 2×3-inch prints – plus music and sweet treats!Sessions are $75 for a maximum of five people and can be booked through Eventbrite.
Sip and Sew: Tote Bag -May 9, 3 p.m. Mama Debbie’s Art Emporium
Sip on a refreshing drink and learn to make your own tote bag with your mom. This beginner-friendly, 18+ workshop, taught by Spicy Ninja Designs, includes the fabric and pattern to follow along – just bring your own sewing machine or rent one for $5. Mother’s Day Brunch – May 10, 11 a.m. Tucker Brewing Company
What’s better for Mother’s Day than brunch? The buffet menu includes biscuits and cornbread with strawberry, lavender, and rhubarb jams; a make-your-own parfait station; sausage, arugula, and feta frittatas; roasted Yukon and sweet potato hash; candied bacon; and a decadent dessert bar. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase. Tickets are $45 on the Tucker Brewing website.
Mother’s Day at the Magnolia Room – May 10, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. – Magnolia Room Cafeteria
Magnolia Room will be serving farm-fresh, made-from-scratch favorites all day long. Fried catfish, smothered pork chops, and mushroom chicken are all on the menu.
Mother’s Day at Leslie Beach Club – May 10, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Leslie Beach Club
Moms, families, and friends are invited to play table top games on the pool deck and enjoy specialty desserts, tea sandwiches, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. The fun begins at 1 p.m. with a beginner-friendly Mahjong lesson.
The Manhattans Mother’s Day Affair – May 10, 8 p.m. Londzell Performing Arts Theatre
Celebrate Mother’s Day with the legendary R&B group the Manhattans. The trio will be performing hits like “Kiss and Say Goodbye” and “Am I Losing You.” Tickets start at $65.87 on Eventbrite.
