The public is invited to celebrate the completion of the new Brook Run Maintenance Facility on May 21 with an opportunity to explore construction equipment.
According to a release from the city, “kids can explore our construction equipment from 4 to 6 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., we’ll gather to cut the ribbon on the new facility. “

“The old structure was aging and not designed for the city’s current maintenance operations,” the release said. “The new building will better support park and street maintenance needs.”
The public is invited to tour the new facility, then stay to enjoy the new food truck concept called Dine Around Dunwoody, hosted by the Dunwoody Homeowners Association. Instead of the truck being exclusively at Brook Run Park, it will now travel throughout the city.
