Tchaikovsky & Mahler at the Atlanta Symphony
SPONSORED BY ATLANTA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
🎻 As the season comes to a close, Nathalie Stutzmann conducts the music of two classical giants–Tchaikovsky & Mahler.
May 28-30 | Performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto is Daniel Lozakovich, whose collaborations extend from leading orchestras to K-Pop’s BLACKPINK. Then Stutzmann leads the Orchestra in Tchaikovsky’s “Pathétique” Sixth Symphony.
June 4-7 | Stutzmann closes the season with Mahler’s “Resurrection” Symphony No. 2, with the GRAMMY® Award-winning ASO Chorus. Stutzmann tackles Mahler’s epic question about life’s purpose with a gargantuan orchestra, summoning folk dances, military bands, and Post-Romantic angels from on high.
