The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Fulton and DeKalb counties until 11 p.m. this evening.

Rain moved in around 4 p.m. this afternoon, followed by thunderstorms and flooding rain. The NWS warning urges people not to travel unless they need to evacuate a flood area

WSB-TV reports that a portion of the Downtown Connector at Freedom Parkway has flooded, along with part of North Avenue at Argonne.

Multiple traffic accidents are also blocking roadways and adding to travel choas across the city, according to multiple reports.
