OnStage Atlanta will present the musical “A Year with Frog and Toad” July 10-26 in Scottdale.

The hit Broadway show was nominated for three Tony Awards – including Best Musical. Based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved books and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two friends – the cheerful, popular Frog (played by Allison Pratt) and the rather grumpy Toad (played by Tevor Goble) – through a year in their lives.

Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.

The jazzy, upbeat score of “A Year with Frog and Toad” is suitable for the whole family.

Shows are on Fridays at 7 p.m., Saturdays at 11 a.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets range from $13 to $20. Tickets are available at onstageatlanta.com.
