Varuni Napoli, known for its Neapolitan-style pizzas with two ITP locations, will open on Aug. 5 at a third location at High Street, a mixed-use destination in Atlanta’s Perimeter Center.
According to an announcement from owner GID, the new restaurant, spanning nearly 3,000 square feet, will further expand High Street’s growing collection of chef-driven culinary experiences.
The restaurant, founded by Luca Varuni, has a location in Morningside, which opened in 2014, and inside Krog Street Market, which opened in 2017.
The menu will feature guest favorites, including the Margherita Pizza, Bastardo Pizza, along with other signature pies, along with Italian appetizers, desserts, and a selection of wines and beverages, the announcement said.
“Bringing Varuni Napoli to High Street is an exciting milestone for our restaurant and our mission to share the flavors of southern Italy with more of the Atlanta community,” said Varuni in the release. “The energy, walkability and sense of community at High Street make it a natural fit for our next location. We’re excited to create a destination where guests can gather, connect and enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza in a vibrant neighborhood setting.”
Restaurant details
The space, located on the first level of High Street, will feature a private chef’s room adjacent to the kitchen and a dining area available for private events and special occasions. Guests can also dine at the bar or on the covered patio overlooking The Green, and a takeout window adjacent to the parking garages provides access for pickup and delivery orders.

In addition to Varuni Napoli, High Street has a mix of national and local restaurants and retailers, including Nando’s PERi-PERi, Velvet Taco, Allen Edmonds, Skin Spirit, Puttshack, The Hampton Social, Agave Bandido, Cuddlefish, Ben & Jerry’s and Sugarcoat.
Upon completion of all phases, the development will encompass 672,000 square feet of Class A office space, a 400-key hotel, 400,000 square feet of shopping, dining, fitness, and entertainment, and 3,000 residential units.
