Tucker officials are sponsoring a scavenger hunt, encouraging residents to discover and learn about the city’s history in honor of the city’s 10th anniversary.
The hunt brings Tucker residents to 10 locations across the city. If participants take photos at every location and bring them to city hall, they’ll receive their choice of a pin or coin commemorating Tucker’s 10th anniversary.
Sonja Szubski, Tucker’s communications director, told Rough Draft that around 20 to 30 people have already participated in the hunt.
“A lot of [the participants] were surprised that we had so many different places, and they got to find out new historical facts about our community,” she said. “I think everybody who did it had a great time.”
While the activity was originally scheduled to last through the month of June, Szubski said that people will still receive the prize for completion as long as supplies last.

Tucker High: 5036 Lavista Rd.
Henderson’s Mill Marker: Henderson Mill road at the exit of St. Bede’s Episcopal Church parking lot
Greenville Henderson Family Plot: between 2706 and 2707 Glenrose Hill at the end of the cul-de-sac
Henderson Family Cemetery: Best Buy parking lot at Lavista Road and Parklake Dr.
Old Fellowship Cemetery: At the end of the cul-de-sac behind 4120 Wildflower Ln.
Johns Homestead: 3071 Lawrenceville Hwy.
Logan’s Corp Marker: At the intersection of Lavista Rd. and Midvale Rd.
Tucker Train Depot: Railroad Ave in downtown
