Macon Pride has announced the dates and programming for the four-day 2026 festival.
The Macon Pride Festival will begin on Thursday, Sept. 24, with the Lively Libations Beer Release at Piedmont Brewery and Kitchen The festivities continue on Friday, Sept. 24, with the Haus Party at Churchills on Cherry, featuring “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall.

The Pride in the Park celebration kicks off on Saturday. Sept. 26, along Cherry Street Plaza, with performances, vendors, and community groups from 2 to 8 p.m. before the afterparty at the Tubman Museum, which starts at 8:30 p.m. The weekend concludes on Sunday with an Interfaith Service at Rose Parks Square from 4 to 8 p.m.
This year’s Macon Pride theme is “Together We Are UNBREAKABLE,” which honors the visibility, authenticity, and collective strength of the LGBTQ+ community.
Macon Pride will be honoring this year’s theme throughout the month of September with the unveiling of the fifth annual Pride Legacy Portrait Project. The exhibit, on display at the Tubman African-American Museum, honors leaders whose work in arts, activism, and community building has shaped Middle Georgia.
This year’s honorees include Ty Battle, Zaria Newbill, and 2019 Macon Pride Founders Jill Vanderhoek, Scott Mitchell, DeMarcus Beckham, Claire Cox, Andrea Freeman, and Moe Dyer.
