Locations of sushi restaurant NoriFish, known for its hand rolls and fresh seafood from Tokyo’s Toyosu Fish Market, and ramen and tsukemen restaurant Okiboru are now open at the Ponce City Market food hall.

The two new stalls take over the former Miso Ko and Ton Ton Ramen Bar spaces, which closed in January after a decade at the market.

Restaurateur Justin Lin and Chef Sean Park founded Okiboru in New York in 2018. Since then, the pair have expanded the restaurant to multiple locations in New York and metro Atlanta, including Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Duluth, Mall of Georgia, and Kennesaw.

Park opened NoriFish in Sandy Springs four years ago, followed by a location in Buckhead in 2025.

The menus

Expect a smaller, tighter menu at NoriFish built specifically for the Ponce City Market location. The menu features made-to-order hand rolls and Japanese small plates, along with sake, Japanese beers, wine, and cocktails from the bar.

Over at Okiboru, look for ramen and tsukemen (dipping noodles), as well as a selection of rice dishes and appetizers. The bar offers cocktails, sake, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages like tea.

Food hall turnover

Ponce City Market’s food hall opened in 2015, just three years after the official debut of the Eastside Beltline, which runs beside the former Sears, Roebuck and Co. building. As those leases expired, many of the original restaurant stalls closed, allowing for new stalls and a brand new wing to open at the food hall.

New additions now push the food hall past 25 restaurants and stalls, serving everything from Puerto Rican, Mexican, and Vietnamese fare to Italian, Thai, Persian, Chinese, and Korean food.

Okiboru and NoriFish join three new food stalls backed by Dinh Tran and Khanh Dang, the husband-wife team behind VIỆTVANA, cocktail lounge and listening room La Cueva, and Thai street food restaurant Terminal 26.

Earlier this spring, Three Taverns Brewery opened Ponce Brew Terminal on the ground floor of Signal House next to Ponce City Market. The brewery, distillery, and taproom serves barbecue from DAS BBQ.
