The Korean Festival Foundation’s annual Atlanta Korean Festival will take place Sept. 19-20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth.
Expect live entertainment throughout the weekend, including musical performances from K-pop group Big Ocean and singer Sunny Lukas. The festival will also feature traditional Korean cultural performances, along with activities and a market selling Korean food, drinks, clothing, jewelry, and K-beauty products.
“The Korean Festival is more than a celebration. It’s a bridge between cultures and communities,” festival organizer Gina Pollitt told Rough Draft.
Beyond the draw of the musicians slated to perform at the Atlanta Korean Festival this year, the market will offer people the opportunity to sample dishes from restaurants, food trucks, and pop-ups, including from Georgia-based Can Cakes, Sambong Naengmyunff, and Kukga Topokki. And look for Georgia-based K-beauty shop Missy Cosmetics at the festival market.
As of 2025, the Korean community in Gwinnett County now exceeds 30,000 residents, according to Neilsberg. Suwanee boasts the largest population of people of Korean descent in Georgia, accounting for more than 15% of the Gwinnett County city’s total population.
