Months after initiating its first phase at The CTR, CP group has announced yet another attraction slated for the entertainment nexus.

Live-K Karaoke, a national karaoke bar chain with locations in Washington, D.C., and Maryland, with a Baltimore outpost on the way, has signed a 10,512-square-foot lease for the former Dantanna’s space on Andrew Young International Boulevard.

CNN left downtown Atlanta in 2024, leaving more than a million square feet of available space. So far, CP Group has opened CTR Food Works, a food hall including Atlanta’s largest bar, and an atrium. Mastro’s Ocean Club is slated to open in November, and The Looking Glass, an Alice in Wonderland-inspired entertainment and restaurant venue from AMP Up1 Hospitality (Your 3rd Spot), will open in 2027.

Live K-Karaoke is known for nightlife activities, including private luxury karaoke rooms. The buildout will be part of The CTR’s third construction phase, which will also add a fitness center, conference center, and tenant lounge.

“The CTR immediately stood out to us because of the location and the vision for what it is becoming,” Chris Zhu, owner of Live-K Karaoke, said in a press release. “You’re steps from the Georgia World Congress Center, Centennial Olympic Park, and Atlanta’s biggest sports and entertainment venues with incredible visibility in the heart of downtown. Add everything taking shape at The CTR itself, and we saw a real opportunity to be part of something exciting and introduce Live-K to Atlanta in a big way.”
