The Lovett School International Alliance (LIA) held its first signature event, The International Taste of Lovett and Fashion Show, last month.
The fashion show featured traditional dresses and costumes from all over the world, modeled by Lovett students, families, faculty, and staff representing their heritage.
Following the fashion show, those attending sampled international cuisine prepared by members of the Lovett community. Dishes included curries, dumplings, pakoras, trifle, tostadas, and sausage rolls.
The event showcased the international side of the Lovett community, representing five continents. Lovett students, families, faculty, and staff with roots in England, Scotland, Ireland, Egypt, Nigeria, Palestine, China, India, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Cuba, Mexico, Ecuador, and the United States participated.
The Lovett International Alliance is an organization composed of families committed to expanding the international, social, educational, and cultural programs offered to the Lovett community.
