Wolfie is a domestic medium hair and a “must see in person” kind of cat. He has the most unusual gray markings on his hind end and long silky hair that seems to float around his whole body. Wolfie is a typical playful kitten who will make a wonderful pet.
Sally is a two-year-old, 9.5-pound Pekingese mix who came to Atlanta Pet Rescue all the way from Alabama. Sally is one of more than 70 dogs rescued from a puppy mill. She is one of the most outgoing of the bunch. She is quick to jump into any waiting lap and eagerly seeks out attention. Unfortunately, Sally did not receive good food or proper dental care. As a result, she needed a dental cleaning along with her routine spay surgery, vaccinations, testing and parasite treatments.

Spot for Dogs has just named The Clairmont Animal Hospital’s Mobile Care Unit as one of the available services at its Midtown/Virginia-Highland Atlanta location. Dr. Michael F. Smith, chief of staff and medical director at the Clairmont Animal Hospital (formerly the Emory Animal Hospital) will head up the Mobile Unit’s Spot for Dogs initiative. The Mobile Care Unit will bring with it the abilities of emergency and critical care, enabling it to hospitalize patients overnight, maintaining them on I.V. fluids and administering other emergency treatments.
