A 29-year-old man who was part of a tree-cutting crew died after falling from a tall tree in Sandy Springs about 2:40 p.m. on July 28, police reported.
The man fell about 60 feet. He was part of a crew employed by Superior Arbor Management Co. of Dawsonville, Ga., Sandy Springs police reported. He was working in the top part of the tree located behind 126 Brookview Circle when the tree snapped below where he was standing and he and the top porton of the tree fell to the ground, police said.
The man’s name was withheld pending notification of his family.
