The nonprofit organization Art Sandy Springs will unveil 10 sculptures Oct. 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sandy Springs Library, 395 Mount Vernon Highway.
Mayor Eva Galambos will preside over the event that will announce the winner of the juried contest, “Spooky Tooth” by sculptor Andrew Crawford.
The event also will feature music, children’s activities and free hot dogs and cokes.
The 10 sculptures will remain at the library for the next year.
The city of Sandy Springs will be the recipient of winning sculpture. In the last three years, Art Sandy Springs has purchased four outdoor sculptures for the city.
