Sandy Springs police Officer Bill Brower is being honored as the department’s “officer of the quarter” for his part in the arrest of two men accused of using stolen bank cards to bilk Signature Bank of several thousand dollars. Brower watched the ATM on Roswell Road where the men cashed the stolen, pre-approved bank cards until the men appeared. He then notified detectives, who arrested the men while they were still at the ATM.
