The Dunwoody Community Council has given its approval to a rewrite of the city’s zoning and land development codes.
The draft next goes to the city’s Planning Commission for consideration and then to the Dunwoody City Council.
Four of the five members of the council attending its June 18 meeting voted in favor of the proposed codes after recommending some changes to the draft.
Council chairman Norb Leahy and members Claire Botsch, Rick Callihan and Debbie Montgomery votes in favor.
Council member Tony Delmichi said he couldn’t vote in favor of the proposal because he thought it should be reviewed by more citizens. “In my opinion, this still needs more debate,” he said.
