Rain didn’t stop the 60,000 runners at yesterday morning’s Peachtree Road Race, nor the big 4th of July  fireworks displays at Lenox Square in Buckhead, Centennial Olympic Park in Downtown and  Stone Mountain Park in DeKalb County. Those attending last night’s Braves game (the Braves lost 4-3 to the Marlins) were also treated to fireworks and motorists were pulled over along the Downtown Connector and overpasses  to take a gander at the show.
