Atlanta Police said a man was shot once in the buttocks at the Benihana restaurant in Buckhead on Tuesday night, Aug. 20.

According to a report sent by APD, the man was leaving the restaurant when two suspects confronted him. He turned around to go back inside and the suspects shot him in the buttocks while he was in the doorway. APD said the suspects fled in a tan Dodge Charger, headed north on Peachtree Road.

The victim is now in Grady hospital in stable condition, police said. Two other people received “minor lacerations” but didn’t go to the hospital, police said.

“At this time no motive has been established but it does appear that the victim was targeted by the suspects,” the police statement says. “The investigation continues.”
