A 31-year-old Sandy Springs man has been charged with murdering a 36-year-old during an altercation outside a Roswell Road bar, Sandy Springs police reported.
Ellis Alfoncoe Blue was shot several times just after 2 a.m. Sept. 15 as he and his wife were leaving the Morgan Falls Billiards Bar at 7875 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs police said.
On Oct. 4, police arrested Andrae Dinkens of Fenwick Place, Sandy Springs, and charged him with felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, police reported.
Blue and Dinkens had “an altercation” inside the bar about 15 minutes before the shooting. Police said Dinkens shot Blue as he and his wife were leaving the bar in their car.
