The students and alumni behind the Save WRAS campaign will be hosting a benefit concert to raise awareness about the station and the controversial daytime takeover by Georgia Public Broadcasting on Thursday, May 15, at 8 p.m. at The Drunken Unicorn, 736 Ponce de Leon Ave.

Local bands Twin Studies, Imagination Head, The Marrows and Book of Colors will each play 30-minute sets at The Drunken Unicorn. The show is open to all those 18 years of age or older. There is a $10 suggested donation with attendance.

The doors will open at 8 p.m. and a question-and-answer session about the GPB-WRAS arrangement will precede the show. All proceeds will benefit the #SaveWRAS movement and will be reinvested in promotional and legal costs by the organization.
