Binders Art Supply and Frames quietly opened its doors at Ponce City Market last week, even as the site continues to be in a construction whirl.

According to a blog post at the PCM site, Binders opened on Aug. 20 and will hold an official open house in three weeks. Tech meet up facility General Assembly is already doing meet and greets and will be starting classes in September. More than 150 parents who have enrolled their children in The Suzuki School preschool had a meet and greet before classes officially begin after Labor Day.

PCM first’s tenant in the main building, athenahealth, will move 200 employees into the building Sept. 22, the same day food trucks will start bringing lunch to site. Staring in October, the first wave of residents who signed leases at The Flats will start moving in.

After three years of construction, construction gates and fences around the site are also staring to come down.
