Gov. Nathan Deal has declared a state of emergency for metro Atlanta and counties threatened by winter weather on Wednesday, Feb. 25. The state of emergency will begin at 2 p.m. and Deal ordered all government offices in the warning zone to close at noon.

Fulton County Schools, DeKalb County Schools, Atlanta Public Schools and City Schools of Decatur have already announced they will be closed on Wednesday.
