The Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of Christ the King, 2699 Peachtree Road, NE, starting at 10:30 a.m., the archdiocese said in a press release. Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory was to be the Mass celebrant.   A “blessing of badges” also was planned, the archdiocese said.

“All are invited to attend the Mass to pray and show appreciation for those who serve and protect the public,” the archdiocese said on its webpage.
