Ponce City Market will be home to Atlanta Against Cancer Week, an annual multi-day, community-driven arts and market event from Tuesday, June 4 through Saturday, June 8.

Proceeds from the free event will aid the Bebop Foundation in continuing their core mission of evolving the cancer treatment and recovery experience by providing funds for continued arts activations at The Piedmont Cancer Institute.

“We’re thrilled for our community to come together for a week of education, awareness, and celebration for the needed change to the cancer experience,” said Bebop’s founder, Eyal Schechter. “Atlanta is a community that cares, and it’s only together we achieve our goals. We’re aiming to raise $50,000 to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.”

Atlanta Against Cancer will be feature local DJs, vendors, a merchandise store, food stands, and an interactive art experience. The week’s lineup includes:

Live Podcasting & Artist Talks On The Patio At Dancing Goats Ponce City Market

Atlanta Against Cancer invites guests to Dancing Goats at Ponce City Market to attend live podcasting sessions, featuring interviews with cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and experts, and panel discussions and presentations by experts in oncology, art therapy, and cancer research.

Wed., June 5, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Arts Activities Day At The Shed

Located at The Shed at Ponce City Market, Arts Activities Day will feature immersive art therapy, creative writing workshops, and interactive storytelling to help attendees cope with emotions, foster self-expression, and convey important messages through creativity.

Thurs., June 6 to Sat., June 8, noon to 8 p.m.
