Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival has added two more acts to the spring music extravaganza on March 28-29 with Gavin DeGraw and Pop 2000 Tour joining a packed lineup.
The weekend of music, which is free to the public, held at Blackburn Park attracted nearly 60,000 people last year.
Gavin DeGraw will open for O.A.R. on Saturday, March 29, while the Pop 2000 Tour joins the Sunday, March 30 lineup headlined by Boyz II Men.
GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw is known for his 2003 platinum-certified full-length debut Chariot, which featured the gold single “Follow Through,” and hits “Chariot” and “I Don’t Want To Be.”
In 2008, his self-titled second album, Gavin DeGraw, reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200. He returned to the Top 10 as when “Not Over You” went four times platinum. In a duet with Colbie Caillat, “We Both Know,” garnered a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Song Written For Visual Media.”
The Pop 2000 Tour features early naughts boy band members from *NSYNC, O-Town, and LFO together on one stage. Fans will get a chance to relive the music and memories of their youth with classics like “Bye Bye Bye,” “It’s Gonna Be Me,” “Tearin’ Up My Heart,” and “All or Nothing.”
Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is bringing back an artists’ market, kids zone, pet world, classic car show, and food trucks. The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom 5K will take place on Saturday, March 22.
