Campus, a new accredited two-year college, has opened a hub in Buckhead with plans to hire 200 new employees by the end of 2026.

Founded by tech entrepreneur and Atlanta native Tade Oyerinde, Campus is backed by a cadre of successful entrepreneurs and investors, including Open AI co-founder Sam Altman, basketball star Shaquille O’Neal, Peter Thiel of Founders Fund, Joe Lonsdale of 8VC, Discord Founder Jason Citron, and Figma founder Dylan Field.

“I’m obviously super proud to be bringing Campus to my hometown, ATL.” Oyerinde, who is also the chancellor of Campus, said in a media statement. “I grew up around some of the kindest, most authentic people in the world here, and these are exactly the kinds of people I want serving in our student support roles.”

Campus delivers live, online instruction from professors who also teach at top-ranked colleges and universities such as Stanford, Georgia Tech, and Spelman. The college offers associate degrees in business.

Students receive wraparound support, including on-demand tutoring and personal success coaching. The model is inspired by a research-backed approach that has been shown to double two-year college graduation rates, according to a news release.

Upon completion, Campus students have the option of transferring to a growing number of four-year institutions that have already accepted Campus grads, including NYU, Penn State, Temple University, University of California, San Diego and Butler University.

Campus’ new office is located at Tower Place 100, 3340 Peachtree Road NE in Buckhead.
