Entering 2026, Druid Hills will have its eighth head coach since 2005. Deuce Roberson enters his first season at the helm, taking over for Frederick Greene, who served as head coach for the last five seasons. Roberson had his first stint as a head coach at Savannah High School in 2017, where he led the Blue Jackets to a 7-5 record. He then became the head football coach at Stone Mountain in 2022 before becoming the head coach at Riverdale in 2023. After spending three seasons leading the Raiders, Roberson will be taking on a Druid Hills team seeking its first postseason appearance since 1985 and first double-digit win season since 1956.
The Red Devils have won four games in back-to-back seasons and are looking for a fifth win this year. Quarterback Malachi Pace returns to the Red Devils as he enters his third season as the starting quarterback. Pace threw for 885 yards and six touchdowns last season while averaging 12 completions per game. Pace leads a young roster that graduated its top-five leading rushers as well as its top-six leading pass catchers. The Red Devils will need to replace that production this year. Leading tackler Caleb Rourk returns for his senior season after finishing with a team-high 80 total tackles and just over seven tackles for loss, along with an interception last season while leading the Red Devil defense.
