Holy Spirit Prep finished the 2025 season with a 2-7 record after going 5-5 and 11-2 across the previous two seasons, respectively. The team’s 2025 campaign featured some tough losses, including a 50-49 defeat to the Augusta Eagles, but the team ended the season on a two-game win streak. The Cougars begin their 2026 campaign taking on the Augusta Eagles as they look to avenge last season’s loss. This is followed by a game against Horizon Christian Academy, which did not win a game last season, giving the Cougars a good chance to start out the year on a better note than last. They then take on Praise Academy, who went 5-7 last season and finished second in its region. After that, they travel to Covenant Christian Academy to take on the Rams before a stretch of region games. They begin region play by facing off with Westminster Christian Academy, which had an impressive 2025 season, going 7-3 after starting the season off with five straight wins. After that, the Cougars play John Hancock Academy, one of the two teams they beat last season. Then, they take on Crisp Academy, who went 0-10 last season, again providing a winnable game for the Cougars. Their final game of the season came against a very good opponent in Vidalia Heritage Academy. In all, Holy Spirit Prep is primed to have a bounceback season.
