After a successful relocation to a new venue in 2025, the Dunwoody Homeowners Association will again open the holiday season on the lawn of the Donaldson-Bannister House at the corner of Chamblee Dunwoody and Vermack Road on Nov. 15.

The Light-Up Dunwoody event, from 2-6 p.m., will include live music, photos with Santa, crafts for children, dance performances, and food trucks offering dinner and desserts, followed by the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree and menorah.

The event was relocated to the farm for the first time in 2025, after the crowd outgrew its previous venue at the Shops of Dunwoody. Organizers estimated last year’s crowd at 3,500 attendees.

“After last year’s success, I think we have found our place for Light Up Dunwoody,” said DHA President Tim Brown. ” We are excited to have this venue and to deepen our relationship with the Dunwoody Preservation Trust.”

Members of the Chesnut family, who owned and lived at the Donaldson-Bannister Farm from 1975 to 2005, will flip the switch to light the tree and menorah lighting.

The DHA and the Dunwoody Preservation Trust co-host the event. Jimmy and Leah Economos of EEP Events LLC will produce the event. Rough Draft Atlanta is the media sponsor.
