Sandy Springs resident Mary Ellen Garrett has been named to Merrill Lynch’s newly formed Atlanta Women’s Advisory Council. Garrett serves as First Vice President – Investments for the The Garrett Group, based out of Merrill Lynch’s Buckhead offices.
Garrett is a board trustee for Marist School and is a member of The Board of Visitors for Emory University. She is a current chair for the Women’s Legacy for United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta and has served as a council member at St. Jude’s Catholic Church since 1990.
The advisory council consists of 12 women, including CEOs/business owners, attorneys, political representatives and philanthropic leaders in the metro Atlanta community.
