Atlanta Police say they are working to curb a rash of burglaries in North Buckhead.

North Buckhead Civic Association President Gordon Certain compiled crime reports on nearly a dozen burglaries between Oct. 21 and Nov. 29.

“We’ve never had this many burglaries,” Certain said.

APD spokesman Officer John Chafee said the department is on top of things.

“We have put extra resources in the area and are increasing directed patrols and visibility,” Chafee said. “We are aware of the burglaries and have developed leads on several suspects.”

Here is a list of the crimes based on the reports Certain compiled:

3600 block of Ivy Road – 11/29/12 – No mention of forced entry

Emma Lane – 11/27/12 – Suspect kicked rear door in

2100 block of Alexander Circle – 11/26/12 – Suspect kicked in the front door

200 block of Midvale Drive – 11/25/12 – Entered through an open window; 11/24/12 – No mention of forced entry – victim out of town

3400 block of Stratford Road – 11/19/12 – Suspect forced open the bedroom window

3000 block of Wieuca Road NE – 11/16/12 – Kitchen Window Was Broken

4100 block of Alexander Circle – 11/08/12 – No signs of forced entry

3400 block of Alexander Road – 10/29/12 – Suspect broke window to residence

3900 block of Wieuca Road – 10/27/12 – Forced entry to a rear window

3400 block of Stratford Road – 10/21/12 – Entered through an open window
