Grade-level winners of the ninth annual “read-a-thon” at Sarah Smith Elementary were honored during a ceremony before an Atlanta Hawks game. Students who read for more than 1,000 minutes during a two-week period participated in a lottery to choose a “Dream Team” of students who were able to rebound with players at courtside, and cheer with Harry the Hawk and the Hawks’ cheerleaders.
