Atlanta police are searching for an attacker who is randomly punching people in the face in Midtown. According to a report from our media affiliate CBS46, four attacks have been reported. The suspect does not speak or steal anything, but sucker punches the victim then walks away.  The latest victim was walking to lunch with a co-worker on Crescent Avenue last week. Police said the attacker is wearing a distinctive trooper-like fur hat and may be mentally ill or homeless.

University House Midtown, the new student housing tower at 930 Spring St., will reach a construction milestone this Friday and top out the structure. The state-of-the-art student housing development, which will open in August,  is more than 50 percent pre-leased for fall. The 20-story building has 268 apartments featuring 706 beds, and more than 9,000 square feet of retail. The property includes one-, two-, three- and four- bedroom floor plans – fully furnished, and many units include balconies with views of Midtown, the Georgia Tech campus and Downtown Atlanta. Community amenities include a resort-style pool on an elevated terrace, a secured parking garage, business center, study rooms, fitness center and a lounge on the top floor with skyline views.

Chef Kevin Gillespie has announced he will open Revival featuring  “a fresh take on the traditional, family-style Sunday dinner.” The restaurant, scheduled to open in June, will be located on the site of the former Harbour House Pub on Church Street in Decatur.
