With thousands of cyclists attending last year’s inaugural festival, the Atlanta Cycling Festival returns June 13-20 with more than 40 events scheduled throughout the week.
The festival connects cyclists of all ages and experience levels with each other while supporting local bike-friendly businesses and organizations. From “Bicycle Jousting” to the “2nd Annual Doughnut Ride,” the festival has something fun for every bicyclist.
This year’s festival lineup includes:
Tour de BeltLine on June 13: An urban bike adventure exploring the current and future Atlanta BeltLine with the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition
Babies on Bikes Parade and Picnic on June 14: The most adorable bike parade ever
Meals On Two Wheels on June 14: In partnership with Open Hand, bicyclists will deliver meals to shut-ins
Bicycle Investment Tour on June 14: The Atlanta Cycling Festival has partnered with Invest Atlanta to scout potential spaces for starting bike businesses on the west and southwest sides of Atlanta
How to Get Bike Lanes: Advocacy Made Easy on June 15: Join Georgia Bikes and Atlanta Bicycle Coalition to learn how easy it is to effectively advocate for bike lanes, bike parking and more
