The Atlanta Police continue to search for a potential suspect in the murder of retired Atlanta Housing Authority executive Barney Simms, 70. Simms was found shot in the front yard of his southwest Atlanta home on Saturday around 4 p.m.
During a press conference on Monday, police released pictures of a man seen with Simms at a Waffle House on Virginia Avenue in Hapeville just before 2 p.m. Police want to talk to the man to see if he was involved with the killing.
Police said a black Lexus with a personalized tag was taken from Simms’ residence. The car was found on Idlewood Drive in East Point shortly after midnight.
