MARTA is giving a double-decker bus that holds 100 passengers a road test through the end of August. The 14-foot tall bus is currently ferrying passengers from Clayton County to the airport, but according to a report in the AJC, the bus will be on a new route each week during the test period. However, because of its height, the bus won’t be able to pass under some of the city’s low bridges.

The co-creator of the national Black Lives Matter movement has disavowed Sir Maejor, the self-proclaimed president of Black Lives Matter Greater Atlanta. In a report from WABE, other local civil rights groups who have been involved in protests and marches since the recent slaying of two black men by police officers say Sir Maejor does not speak for them.
