Atlanta Police Homicide Unit is investigating two unrelated incidents that occurred on Thursday and Friday in the city, including seeking the public’s help in finding a person of interest in one of the cases.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a homicide that occurred on March 21. The woman seen in blue in the video below dropped off the victim at Grady Hospital and then left the scene.

At approximately 8:48 a.m. on Thursday, Atlanta Police Zone 1 officers responded to Grady Hospital regarding a report of a person with a gunshot wound arriving at the hospital by private vehicle.

Upon arriving at the hospital, officers located a 57-year-old male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound and was deceased. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim sustained his injury at 171 Griffin St. NW. Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.

Investigators are asking for anyone able to identify this person of interest to contact Crime Stoppers. Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000.

Then on Friday, March 22, officers responded to 1783 Cheshire Bridge Road about a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located two male victims with apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital by Grady EMS where one victim was pronounced deceased.

The investigation continues and no information about the identities of the two victims has been released.
