A man was fatally shot Thursday afternoon inside a MARTA train at the Georgia World Congress Center/CNN Center station.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, police responded to the call at 5:45 p.m. where they found the victim inside an eastbound train at the station in Downtown Atlanta.

Police attempted to revive the victim, who was later pronounced dead. Police are searching for the suspect, but no other details on the shooter or the incident were provided. The name of the victim has not been released yet.
