Pizza Jeans
Phipps Plaza, Citizens Market, 3500 Peachtree Road, Buckhead
The popular Ponce City Market pizzeria is now open at Citizens Market food hall at Phipps Plaza. Expect giant mall slices, whole pies, calzones, and sandwiches.
May Peel
Hotel Granada, 1302 West Peachtree Street, Midtown
The below-ground cocktail lounge, named for Titanic survivor and former Granada Apartments resident Lily May Peel Futrelle, opened at the recently renovated Hotel Granada. Expect original and classic cocktails and bar snacks. Bar opens at 5 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
The Sparrow
The Plaza, 950 West Peachtree Street, Midtown
This Asian tavern leans into Sichuan cooking techniques and cuisine on the menu and includes other dishes like Peking duck, a selection of dumplings, Singapore noodles, and salt and pepper calamari. Expect cocktails, beer, and wine from the bar.

Emilio’s Tacos & Tequila Bar
1105 West Peachtree Street, Midtown
Opening Sept. 30, and backed by the team behind McCray’s Tavern, Emilio’s serves tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas. Look for tequila, mezcal, agave cocktails, and margarita flights from the bar. The restaurant takes its name from longtime McCray’s employee and Acapulco native, Emilio Portilla.
Midnyt Burger
Wild Leap Brewing, 125 Ted Turner Drive, South Downtown
The smash burger food truck just opened at the South Downtown brewery and distillery at Centennial Yards. Open for takeout and delivery, too.
Motorboat
710 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Virginia-Highland
The long-planned sandwich restaurant and bar from the owners of Bantam Pub opened in the former 8ARM space on Ponce. The restaurant should remain open until the development of the property by Portman Holdings begins in the next two years.

Mikkelson’s Market
210 Flat Shoals Avenue, Reynoldstown
JenChan’s owners Emily and Jen Chan opened their counter-service takeout restaurant and market. Mikkelson’s is open for breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go food and provisions. Read more here.

The Pub @ EAV
469 Flat Shoals Avenue, East Atlanta Village
Kasie Scott and former Bone Lick BBQ owner Mike LaSage opened a British-style pub in the former Elder Tree space. LaSage’s menu leans into traditional British pub fare, including fish and chips, weekly Sunday roasts, and a dish combining a Scotch egg with eggs benedict. Galette Atlanta
110 North Avondale Road, Avondale Estates
The French-American pastry and bread pop-up is now open as a cafe and shop. Purchase everything from seasonal galettes, cruffins, and cookies to sandwiches and fresh baguettes.

Ashland’s Kitchen
3625 Cumberland Boulevard, Vinings
The new Vinings restaurant features a menu of dishes using mostly local and from-scratch ingredients. Expect shakshuka, breakfast sandwiches, and keto pancakes at breakfast, with fresh salads, vegan chicken nuggets, burgers, and quiche at lunch. Only open on weekdays. Kids menu available.
Char Pizzeria
Halcyon, 6330 Halcyon Way, Alpharetta
Char Pizzeria took over the space formerly occupied by Holmes Slice pizzeria at the Forsyth County food hall. Expect a mix of classic Neapolitan-style pizzas and other thin-crust pies topped with ingredients like smoked salmon. The stall also serves frozen drinks.
Hen Mother Cookhouse
50 South Main Street, Alpharetta
Popular Johns Creek breakfast and brunch restaurant Hen Mother Cookhouse will open Oct. 4 in the former Restaurant Holmes space in downtown Alpharetta. This location will eventually include an expanded menu and a full bar.

Paya Thai
Westside Provisions District, 1198 Howell Mill Road, Blandtown
A new restaurant from Alex Kinjo called Paya Thai will open Oct. 8 in the former Redbird space across from Bar Blanc at Westside Provisions District. Look for dishes with ties to Thai nobility and royalty on the menu.
Brasserie Margot
Four Seasons Hotel, 75 14th Street, Midtown
Bar Margot at the Four Seasons will be joined by French restaurant Brasserie Margot this winter. Little else is known about the restaurant or if it’s tied to Ford Fry’s restaurant group like Bar Margot.

New food hall
1375 Peachtree Street, Midtown
Midtown will soon have another food hall just three blocks from Colony Square food hall Politan Row on Peachtree Street. The food hall and full-service restaurant will open at 1375 Peachtree Street as part of a new planned office complex. Details are scarce right now, and there’s currently no name for the food hall.
Necessary Purveyor
Scout Living, Ponce City Market, 639 Glen Iris Drive, Old Fourth Ward
Miami-based gourmet market, cafe, and sandwich shop Necessary Purveyor will open on the ground floor of the emerging Scout Living hotel on the Ponce City Market property. Look for breakfast and lunch throughout the day and a raw bar, with dinner in the evenings.

Burtons Grill
Buckhead Landing, 3330 Piedmont Road, Buckhead
The first Georgia location of Burtons Grill & Bar will open in November in Buckhead.
Issa Funnel Cakes
Switchman Hall, Terminal South, 1160 Ridge Avenue, Peoplestown
Chris and Ka’Ron Conwell will open dessert stall Issa Funnel Cakes at the new Switchman Hall food hall in Peoplestown in 2025. Expect made-to-order funnel cakes and 12 signature funnel cakes on the menu with over 18 different toppings.
Just Brunch Breakfast Bar
Shops at Vining Ridge, 2747 Paces Ferry Road, Vinings
Chef Keith Robinson will open a second location of Just Brunch Breakfast Bar next fall at the Shops at Vinings Ridge complex on Paces Ferry Road. Expect dishes like bananas foster French toast, cornbread waffle stacks, and peach-glazed salmon with crab fried rice.
Mad Dad Philly’s
Roswell Junction, 340 South Atlanta Street, Roswell
A third location of Philly cheesesteak and hoagie shop Mad Dad Philly’s will open this fall at the emerging Roswell Junction food hall. Mad Dad already includes locations in Buckhead and at Halidom Eatery food hall in the southeast Atlanta neighborhood of Woodland Hills.
