Tonight, we will learn whether any Atlanta or Georgia restaurants make the inaugural 50 Best Restaurants in North America list.

The British-based organization behind “50 Best” will hold a ceremony announcing this year’s North American winners at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, starting at 8 p.m. PDT (11 p.m. ET). Winners were voted on by 300 anonymous restaurant industry peers and experts from around North America, split into sub-regions led by a chairperson. According to 50 Best, restaurants do not pay to enter or need to be a specific type of restaurant or meet specific criteria to be considered for the lists.

Referred to as Dub’s Fish Camp by Quatrano and her team, the New England-style seafood restaurant and oyster bar opened in 2015 and is one of the original tenants at Ponce City Market’s central food hall.

Executive Chef Faye Poon and the W.H. Stiles staff will move over to Summerland, a new restaurant from Quatrano and company slated to open later this fall at Underwood Hills indoor farmers market and food hall Upper Westside Market.

From pizza window to Decatur restaurant, peek inside Glide Pizza’s first dine-in location

🍕 Five years after debuting as a pizza window operating out of Irwin Street Market on the Eastside Beltline, the first dine-in location of Glide Pizza opened last week in Decatur.

The pizzeria took over the former Chando’s Tacos space on West Ponce, also once home to The Pinewood Tippling Room. Glide previously operated a pizza window inside Decatur brewery Inner Voice Brewing before its departure in July, and continues to operate a takeout window at StudioPlex in the Old Fourth Ward.

The new location’s most significant changes are an expanded menu, full bar, and ample seating dedicated to patrons of the pizzeria. Seating is sparse, and mostly outdoors, in the Old Fourth Ward. At Inner Voice, Glide shared space with the brewery.
